The Crystal Palace Subway, with its extraordinary architectural qualities and rich heritage, was part of the world famous Crystal Palace which gave the name to the area on top of Sydenham Hill.

The Crystal Palace was destroyed by fire in 1936 and the subway is one of the last surviving elements, it is Grade II listed although there is currently no public access due to health and safety concerns.

These 360′ photos were taken by myself during the ‘open house’ in september 2013. They are not mobile phone #photosphere pictures, they were taken using my DSLR with a sigma 8mm lens. The images are HDR’d (to allow for severe lighting differences) and photostictched and then processed further to show views from different perspectives.
